With the new show, Gundam Build Fighters, they released some concept art for the show. One of which was a mash up of the gundam and guntank. I had always thought the idea of interchangeability between the 3 operation V Mobile Suits would be a neat idea that for some reason nobody ever tried. So I’ve decided to make my own. For now at least I’m calling it the Tankdam.

I already had an HGUC gundam in a box just collecting dust. a quick look around Amazon found me a dirt cheap guntank. upon the first test fit, I found a pretty big gap between the gundam torso and guntank base. To fix this I took the lower torso piece of the guntank, cut it down, and added some sheet styrene to turn it into a gap filler panel. It also raises the torso up a bit, making the whole thing look less squat. a quick coat of primer reveals some seams. they will be dealt with soon.
