It’s Keroro from the series Keroro Gunso (Sergeant Keroro) known as Sgt. Frog in the US. It’s a comedy about a group of frog like aliens that come to Earth and are trying very unsuccessfully to take it over.. The show has many references to Gundam and Gundam building. This show actually got me interested in building Keropla and Gunpla. Keroro is obsessed with Gundam models and blows all his platoon’s budget on them. There are 3 sesaons that were dubbed in English and very well done. I wish they would dub all of them since there were 7 seasons in Japan. There’s lots of obscure 80’s pop culture references (atari 5200 anyone) as well as nods to Gundam, Kamen Rider, Super Sentai, Space Battleship Yamato, Dragon Ball, and Neon Genesis Evangelion.

Bandai has released quite a few Keroro kits. This particular kit is form a series of 4 other characters with mecha that combine in to one giant mecha. I’m planning on doing them all.
