An update on my MSN-06S[CS] based on the mecha of Knights of Sidonia.

So, I’ve gotten close to a final preliminary (?) design for the head. The shapes are where I like them. I’ll have to look into getting more details, maybe. I trimmed the front cheek, the back jaw, the front brow, as well as the back neck protector. You might’ve also noticed a slightly altered commander’s horn. It’s now a proper “horn”. I’m thinking about removing the cables from the head, as well. I’m rather undecided on that.

I’ve also gotten a picture of my High Density Rifle. It’s as it appears and is a beam cannon meant for long range engagements. Combined with the very large back equipped thruster, the [CS] variant Sinanju should be able to maintain it’s long range where it is superior.

The side skirts have also been a little stream lined to go along with the smoother feel of the suit. It was really bugging me that the side skirts were just so.. rectangular and regular when the very gentle curves of the base Sinanju are only interrupted by very abrupt spikes and sharp edges. Some thrusters were also added on the bottom of the side skirts. Yes, the beam sabers are removable and the Sinanju’s hands can surprisingly hold those beasts.

I’ve also uploaded some size comparisons. First up is just showing a test shot of how the shoulders are going to be. Had to cut up parts of the shoulder to get any sort of articulation. I’ll be finishing those up later. Look forward to it!

Next, we have what I had worked on on top of the legs of my old Sinanju to show off the scale of that rifle. It’s huge! It stands at approximately 125% the full height of the Sinanju.

Next, I’m debating on what to work on in my spare time… The front skirts? The back skirts? The legs? The arms? The chest? There’s a lot of work ahead of me.
