Advanced Modeler – Modeling Competition 2013 9 years, 5 months ago Hi guys,
I will be building Bandai’s 1/100 MG Gundam Deathscythe EW Version. It will be my first model since the 2012 Gundam Eclipse Summer War Contest. Back then I built HG Adele from Gundam AGE (http://gundam-eclipse.net/topic/4961765/1/) and was given MG Deathscythe as a prize for it.
I realise that the advanced category is meant for customising, scratch building and generally using “advanced” techniques. However, I strongly believe that even before thinking about them one should be able to simply build a kit to a high standard, addressing issues, such as seem lines, mould lines and surface imperfections. With that in mind, I joined the advanced group, aiming to build and paint this model as best as possible out of the box. Depending on time I may try my hands on modifications.
