I masked and airbrushed all the detail on the red Valvrave and it took forever. I’m thinking of doing some kind of sticker / paint hybrid on the yellow one….
That sounds like a big chore. I know how you feel. I once masked a kit for 5 hours.
I resorted to a small amount of hand painting for some of the white stripes, and I’ll probably do so again….
im probly gonna do the pinstripping 1st then use the stickers to cover them up then do the body color, instant easy masking tape
That’ll work for a fair few of the lines. I think the shoulders are the main place it won’t work as the stickers are the whole surface, not just the lines. I really would hope we could get a 1/100 MG style kit with proper colour plastic separation as these are cool mechs.
