    afterwords (unfortunantly can’t paint the new rubbery hoses as the paint peels off if you bend them, wanted to give them a gold plated look)

    • In my experience, lacquer paints seem to adhere pretty well to rubbery parts like those hoses.
      Tamiya spray paints might work, since they are lacquer based.
      I’d recommend testing the paint on some spare rubber material (like the sprue) before you try it on the hoses.

      • I’ve not tried painting the hoses on MG Geara Doga or MG Hi-Zack – but when I built the HG Wing Zero Custom and painted the knee polycaps, I did find that the lacquers stayed put pretty well – until they didn’t. It’s like, when I first painted them they were good and then later it started flaking off in places. As a result I don’t like to rely on rubber parts at all, unless they’re hidden.
