How do all? This is not the kit I am making, but possibly borrowing some parts from. Posting the pic for openness, whilst awaiting the MG Patlabor Ingram 3 I will be making.
Does anybody know what effect painting/staining has on the rubber sleeve of the Ingrams joints?
Good skills to all who are entering, can not wait to see the winners final enteries, The standard in the last was ridiculously high arrgh!

  I still have an MG Ingram 2 that I’ve yet to build! haha, I’m not gonna enter it in the comp though, unless I’m not happy with my Geara Doga.. When I do finally get around to building the Ingram, I’m definitely going to paint it up, but I’m thinking I’ll leave the rubber as is, I don’t really trust it to hold the paint.
  
  I would be interested to find out if there are methods that work though.

  Liaka_one hopefully somebody has the answer to my question, else I will have metaphorically get of my posterior and do some research lol. Will keep you informed.
  I am planning on changing the colour scheme and doing some light mod work, haha. Oddly 4months may not be enough time for my very slow self to enter 🙁 But deadlines are good.
  Btw love the Geara Doga can not wait to see what you do to it 🙂
