Try to get a hold of some decal softener. Adding a bit of vinegar to the water you let your waterslides to soak in will help a bit too. It’ll soft them up a bit and let them lay down a bit better.

Once you lay down your markings, just dab some of the softener solution onto them and take the excess off gently. Let it dry up and just top coat as you would do normally. Easy as that. Not to be a smartass or anything, but decals stick a lot better to smooth surface so try giving them the closest you can to that before applying. Did I do good? 🙂
