HLJ offers parts replacement services. Follow the customer service section, you will find the link. Beware the cost of the replacement runner will be relatively high.
Unfortunately for me Hobbylink Japan no longer accepts orders for parts in general, but only for parts that arrived broken or missing in items received from HobbyLink Japan within the last 10 days. So short of making a friend in Japan I really honestly don’t know what to do at this point in time
I ordered two parts I had lost from Gentei Kits at http://www.genteikits.com/ . Just email them the model number, runner letter i.e Sprue A, then the part number. They were very good at communication, pricing and service was fast. Remember they have to then order the part themselves. I was finally able to finish my MG Red Astray after I got my two parts I needed from them.
Hi thank you for the information, the only thing I am wondering about and I hope I don’t come across as being a total newbie here but is the model number the name of the kit or what and where would I find it, and the part number where would I find that information out as I don’t exactly have my manual anymore for the kit I’m wanting to replace the one sheet of parts for. Thank you in advance
look over on http://www.1999.co.jp/eng and find the kit in question & they list scans of all the manual pages, wehich will let you find the runner and part number, then you can use gentei kits new parts order system to get said parts.
