Ok I think I now just what you need mate A CAR WHEEL & TYRE. You can get your self a regulator and the other stuff you’ll need to attach it to your airbrush. This is a quiet consistent & dry source of air witch can be refilled with a simple foot pump and it will last a couple of sessions.
Hope that helps.
The thought sounded pretty logical to me from the start but still, it more resembled breathing from a bag while underwater than something you could actually use and use it with good results. I’m glad it works though and that I learned something new. If my compressor dies on my now I know I can just pop open the trunk and get a spare tyre to continue with the painting. 🙂
