I love me some Zero. With this one I wanted to try a dif paint job than the usual and remembered something somewhere about maybe the early A6Ms on the carrier Zuikaku having a more tan tone. So I pre-shaded and shot it a light tan. Maybe a little too tan. So I hit it again with a lighter tan. Hmmm. It looked great when I tested the colors first, but on the actual model… The this is, it’s really starting to grow on me. So I pushed ahead with the build.

Two white stripes for the Zuikaku 1941 flight group. Added brake lines to the landing gear. The stripes and red hinomarus are painted on.
