Took time off other projects. Back to this. Prepped, masked off painted areas, primed, mottled and preshaded.

Mottling means lighter and darker random sprays for tonal variation. Otherwise, the surface likes monotone.

It’s all pre-shading/weathering.

  I exaggerated the pre-shading/mottling because there’ll be 3 layers of color coats for the camouflage. For 1 color coat, a subtle mottling is ok.
