The kit is very simple and can be built into a nice model out of the box. Test fit shows no problem, but the wings are a little wobbly at the root and need reinforcement. Hasegawa did a very good job on making the plane look like an egg, but I want to change that egg shape a little bit to give it a better resemblance to the real F-86. I am planning on scratch building a realistic cockpit, air brakes, overall details, the J-47 jet engine, and possibly its pilot.

  I like your plans for upping an egg-plane. Showing skill and still keeping it fun. Also your book has the NINA II on it! That plane was on display where I lived and I saw it weekly. 🙂
