There was no letter Q on the decal sheet so I made my own. The laser printed decal sheet at the local hobby store is too thick for my liking. Does anyone have a brand that they swear by?

There are both laser and inkjet water slide decals for sale in most hobby shops

Next is to get your image and size it. You can use photoshop or any image editior.
Then you test print it on your printer to check for position, size and colour.
When all is good, you can load in your decal sheet and print your design.
Sometimes, when I am printing just a small area, I cut the decal sheet and double side tape it to a blank sheet of paper. So it acts something like a carrier.
