@syd Please clarify again. I do not understand why the rules are completely sideways and different this year. I need to begin building and modeling my kit.

I don’t know why you keep going back and forth on this question. It’s mind boggling because last competition in 2014 we had kits that were completely scratch built from nothing. We had kits from kinds of models you don’t sell on HLJ.com.

I don’t understand. How does the “Advanced Category” even work with these twisted rules. You have as part of the description on the Advanced Category that it can be a completely scratch built model. That means that it could be from nothing but personally molded vinyl and putty and it would count? That’s not something you just sell on HLJ.com That wouldn’t be a model you could buy on HLJ.com

In final I don’t know why you just don’t make it clear. Why do we continually have mixed messages this way. Simply put does the kit you build/paint/model have to have been ordered from HLJ.com? It looks like mixed messaging because internally it’s like you haven’t decided for yourselves.
