    Chapter 2
Sergeant Ashberry darted towards a price of space debris for cover from the incoming units. Lieutenant Galuga took cover just ahead and readied his compact bazooka.
” Corporal t Ko, hurry into formation before you are spotted.” Ordered the lieutenant.
” I’m trying but my thrusters aren’t responding.” Corporal Ko answered with panic. Shifting his controls back and forth in hopes to kick start the thrusters back on. Corporal then through his thrusters into full blast and as he pulled his controls back the main thrusters blasted on and shot Ko into the opposite direction. “I’m good now lieutenant. Heading into formation.” Ko acknowledged in relief. Little to his knowing that the enemy spotted his huge blast of thrusters. His radar rang of an incoming attack. “What?! Where?!” Ko scrambled to find the incoming.
“Ko!! Move!” Sergeant Ashberry cried out over the static filled radio. Before corporal could react the missile found its target. Ko’s Gera Zulu exploded right it front of Sargent Ashberry’s eyes. “Damn you Earth Federation scum!” Ashberry cried out. He fired a hail storm of bullets at the enemy, destroying two of the enemy mobile suits.
“Sargent, hold your fire you will give away our positions as well.” Lieutenant Galuga instructed, trying to bring his second in command back to his senses. “Break into venom formation.” Ashberry boosted to the opposite direction of Galuga. Zigzagging around space debris. Galuga fired two missiles on the fly connecting with one of them, blowing off the backpack of one of the mobile suits.
“Damn cowards. Come out and face us instead of running around like rats.” Yelled out the Earth Federation unit leader. His screen locked on to the path of Ashberry’s Zaku ii. “I have you now.” The leader said to himself. Before he could pull the trigger an incoming missile was heading towards his left flank. Right before impact he watched the other two Jegan mobile suits explode. “Damn Zeon.” The thought ran through the leaders head just as the missile made impact.
“That’s all of them Sargent. Let’s head back.” Lieutenant Galuga ordered to Ashberry.
“What about Ko sir?” Ashberry questioned in a low tone.
“He is left to space now Sargent. Hurry up so we can reload and get a quick meal in. Lieutenant Galuga knew the price of war and a death was hard but part of the nature. He doesn’t become to attached to his unit for that one reason. “Lets go and play a game of poker to take our minds off this.” Galuga suggested.
