Anyone have any experience using both Mr. Hobby and Tamiya brand products and would you happen to know which is “better”, if there were such a thing.

I know Tamiya and Mr Hobby both have their own Putty, paint, sand paper, thinners, and primers. Tamiya has their own design knifes, blades provided by Olfa and think I read somewhere that Mr Hobby has their own set of hobby knives as well.

I know what majority will say. “It’s how you use the tool that determines it’s true value.” I know just that I won’t become amazing just by having a certain brand but, using the right tool for the job does go a long way.

Any input would be much appreciated. What tools/brand of tools do you use? 🙂
