    • Nice! You can get water slides decals for this kit too!

      • Word? Thats awesome! Is it on hlj.com?

        • Yep. HLJ. A titanium paint job is pretty risky. Are you going to use a paintbrush for it? Prime92 inspired a lot of people! I look forward to seeing it.

          • I found em! I’m completely new to waterslides (and hell, I only just started doing sticker decals recently). What are the benefits to those over regular stickers? edgeless appearance? I found the sinanju waterslides and they all seemed white for the gold parts. is painting necessary first?

            • As far i know of using water decals for other type of models, you have to cut the decal the put it on water for about 10-15 seconds then with a paintbrush grab it apply to surface, dry extra water and let dry, after that you can apply gloss or mate barnish. Water decals look like a painted job on the model, but you have to be carefulle not to brake it when you apply them, sometimes they came with extra copys of the same model so you can test on them. Hope it helps

              • ahhhhhh gotcha! thanks!

                • @Benjamin is right. You cut the decal off, put it in the water, and then fish it out with tweezers. If it slips off of the paper in the water, it will lose it’s adhesiveness and be basically useless. Watch it in the water. Bandai decals usually take 8-10 seconds in the water to be ready. Try to use decal setter and decal solvent. Without that, the decal probably won’t stick to the model. The sol also helps the decal to conform to the plastic, and make the borders blend in. use a paintbrush to put a little bit of setter on the spot where the decal is going to be. Use a Q-tip to gently tease the decal onto the model. Then put some sol on the decal. it will rinkle up, but that’s natural. just let it dry. This is just some information that I’ve collected.
