As someone who got into Gunpla purely because I like the look of the robots I have to say the RX-78-2 is the most boring design. 3.0 looks like 2.0, which in turn probably looks like 1.0 (if there is such a thing)

  There’s actually a lot more difference between those three versions than you’ve recognized… Little design changes can have a big impact on the overall flavor of a design.
  If you just don’t like the Gundam, though, then those things probably won’t matter. 🙂
