With this build I wanted to make the gundam look worn… I decided to use the salt technique to achieve this. Using a spray bottle to mist water onto the various pieces you are able to make the salt (of different grains) stick to the model pieces… thus allowing the paint underneath to show through in a realistic way.

Another thing of note for this build is the wonderful detail of the inner frame. Although in the end it gets completely covered I went ahead and took the time to make the details shine. I really enjoyed painting and bring all the detail out. I wish others kits were as detailed as this one is.
