Well, it was quite the journey to get to this point. This was my first time using any sort of alclad paint, so that was interesting. Here are the final images of my finished qubeley’s photo shoot.
tamiya acrylic clear red. I tried the enamel version too, but that comes out more like a dark cherry color. It took a lot of coats, you going to need at least 2-3 jars to paint a sinanju.

I sanded with 2000 grit sand paper after the coat of primer, but i would attribute it mostly to alclad gloss black and chrome.
Awsome use of alclad chrome. I want to do something like that for my Sinanju. What type of clear paint did you use?
