Never occur to me to make gloss coat on the gold part and flat topcoat on the armor only.. =D
Well i like to make my kit clean plus i’m just entering beginner modeler thus i think straight clean built plus several small hand paint on parts are more sufficient on this lvl..
gloss coat add shininess and flat coat tone the color down to make it look less toyish. As we know, the strike freedom most noticeable feature is his gold frame. Make it stand out with a gloss coat is somewhat understandable but before attempting this tip. Make sure to clean all the nubmarks neatly and hide them with a gold gundam marker. It’s good but not enough. You can put a gloss coat on the gold frame to make it shiny and flat coat for the regular armor.
