Activity

Lots of progress; rear torpedo storage/AA platform/mast/radar, rear funnel area, forward mast and bridge area all mostly done and detail uped. Also took a carving tool to my piece of mdf to create a wavey pattern to build up from for the sea base.

Pictured is the assemblies mentioned and the entire model with them placed on without glue (and with one of the 1/350figures tacked on for scale). I`ll be leaving the forward and rear assemblies unattached until the deck underneath is painted to make access easier, since the deck on those parts is a different colour.

Remaining modeling work includes all four turrets(cannon and torpedo), single AA mounts, left side torpedo storage, depth charges and various small details, but it`s going fairly well.
