As an initial post in this group I want you to show my 1/60 PG MSN-06S Sinanju. PG in this case stands for Paper Grade. This paper model is around 40cm and it was a lot of work. I made a few papermodels until now but this one was really a challenge. Some parts are really small and were hard as hell to fold. The white lines on the paper that appear after folding were touched up with markers. I worked on this model nearly nonstop and it took me around a month to finish it. Each bodypart took me around 3-7 days to build. Actually I have finished it 2 month ago but completely forgot to upload the photos.
Here some facts:
Number of pieces: ~744; legs 170, arms 122, waist 90, torso 53, head 27, backpack 75, shield 36, rifle 68, axe 35. Time to glue the bodyparts together: 3 h; overall time for the build more than 180h. Number of papersheets (80g/m2): ~110
On the photos you can see the model in comparison with HG and MG kits.
dude, this is insane1
amazing
Thanks!
crazy just crazy. but it does look amazing. good job
Thanks a lot!
that’s crazy just simply amazing, if you don’t mind asking were did you get it i would love to make one my self
Thank you! You can find templates on a lot of papercraft sites. This is were I usually get my stuff. http://www.paper-replika.com/
You will be surprised that this is only a small model. The original size is supposed to be around 70cm tall. Now there is even a template in white. If you are a beginner in papercraft modelling, I would suggest you start with something smaller and simpler because this is a real challenge to get it finished. It would be a pity if you start and won’t finish it.
Thank You
