Intermediate Modeler – Modeling Competition 2017 5 years, 11 months ago I cobbled together the kit for a photo before I begin some serious work. I’ve already attempted to start on some modifications to look like the Fuchikoma from the GitS comic, but nothing major.
I did a supply run today and fetched the Wave tank set for the sides of the cockpit and the wave lens set for the eye and other sensors. I also have pieces of an old broken 1/144 HGUC Gogg that has seen better days. The shoulders and thigh parts should serve as more accurate looking leg parts for the original Fuchikoma.

I would love a proper fuchikoma kit,i know you get a clear fuchikoma figure/ toy in the GHOST IN THE SHELL Solid Box Set but that set is around £300 now.
But anyway it will be cool to see you make your own,i will follow this one with interest.
As long as there is not this ugly green you can do whatever you want! 😀
Thanks for the comment! A figure would be nice too but I agree, a kit would be amazing. I think there are resin kits but they are really hard to come by. I hope my kit will not disappoint.
I’m not too fond of the out of the box green myself and I will definitely be changing the color. I thought of going with red but after seeing all the color variants in the comic I’m really not sure!
