Hi. If I build a kit, with no modifications, addons or scratch build, but with a nice paint scheme and battle damage, should this be submitted to Intermediate category?

  Sounds like an intermediate, if the judges think your final entry doesn’t match the group you put it in, then they will move it to the group they think it should be in.

  I say it depends on the level o painting. If it is going to have a lot of shading, masking etc; it might still qualify for Advanced, but as Outamyhead said – in the end it is at the judges’ discretion.
