WIP 11, building a base

To complete the model, I decided to build a base with the help of my younger brother. Although, no pictures were taken during the building process, the base and helipad were made of plywood, which was cut to shape and size, primed, sanded and re-primed until smooth and detailed with cardboard pieces, acrylic gems and metal parts. The ground around the helipad was built by mixing sawdust, PVA glue and water and applying the mixture along with a few tiny stones on the base. The trees were made of wire, fibres from rope, PVA glue and sawdust. The base was airbrushed with Winsor & Newton acrylics and weathered with Tamiya Weathering Master sets.
