WIP 8, detailing and painting the inner frame and effect parts

The frame was primed, sanded, re-primed and painted with Mr Hobby lacquers. With the exception of parts painted with metal paints, all parts were base-coated and post-shaded. Details were hand-brushed with Tamiya enamels. Parts were then clear-coated, panel-lined (with enamel washes) and flat-coated.

The two effect parts were airbrushed with a fluorescent green powder dispersed in thinned enamel clear. The paint absorbs light when near a light source and then fluoresces in the dark.
