Building the LPD-21 is very simple. The ship is ultra modern style, with geometric hull .
To find the places for the railing I had to find suitable reference, and actually used instructions from various PE sets intended to detail the 1:350 version.
I don’t remember seeing 1:700 PE sets for this model which is a shame, but not too much railing is required.I had to add the side doors for the speed boats as they are seen in the box picture but not represented on the kit for some reason.
When done, I masked the hull and sprayed the lower hull in dark red paint from a spray can. I find the paint to cure very hard, so it won’t be pilled when I mask it to paint the upper hull.
When dry, it was masked, and the upper hold was primed.
