Building the LPD-21 is very simple. The ship is ultra modern style, with geometric hull .
To find the places for the railing I had to find suitable reference, and actually used instructions from various PE sets intended to detail the 1:350 version.
I don’t remember seeing 1:700 PE sets for this model which is a shame, but not too much railing is required.

I had to add the side doors for the speed boats as they are seen in the box picture but not represented on the kit for some reason.

When done, I masked the hull and sprayed the lower hull in dark red paint from a spray can. I find the paint to cure very hard, so it won’t be pilled when I mask it to paint the upper hull.

When dry, it was masked, and the upper hold was primed.
