Hi,
My next building log will be of 2 ships. As finding time to airbrush is difficult for me, I thougt of building as much as I can and then painiting the models together.

For this project I chose Two hobby boss models, the LPD-21 San antonio class amphibious assualt dock, New-York, and the LHD-1 amphibious assualt ship Wasp.

the models are big and impressive, and are of hobby boss usual high standard.
Both were built as full hull models.

for the LPD-21 I added railing from Flyhawk models railing set, and some additional scratchbuilding details.

For the LHD-1 I used the excellent Eduard PE set, which is very detailed and makes life very easy as the railing is cut to shape, and all the modeller need to do is bend and glue :).

I’ll used the aircraft from the models which are Trumpeter style aircraft in clear plastic (which I hate as I can’t see what I’m doing) but their details is of course great, and each plane is a mini kit by itself.
