Hi there, I though I show you the Macross Spartan Destroid that I have just finished building. This is a re-release of an older kit I believe. Still a very interesting build. It has no polycaps and so the movement is really stiff. One problem I encountered during the build was that the decals did not take to Humbrol Decal fix. I destroyed four decals in the process. Turns out it is better to loosen them from the backing paper with water and apply the decal fix later via brush on the model. The paint job is mostly Tamiya acrylic colors via Airbrush and smaller details with a fine brush and Gundam Markers.

This is my third Macross build, the other Mechs I build were the Phalanx and the Defender. Are there any more interesting Mecha that are not Varitech builds?
