    Hey everyone. I am just now getting an inspiration to try and design a new custom gunpla and I would like some suggestions for a basis for my next kitbash. First though some backstory, my very first car was a 1977 Chevy Malibu Classic. It was a white with red interior car with a silver grill and a huge hood ornament. However it was totaled when I was 18 because of a guy who decided to come out in the middle of the 55 MPH road and stop dead. If the front end of it wasn’t what my brother affectionately called ”a dumpster”. I would have died, I miss that car till this day but I can’t exactly find it or a good model kit of it so I am thinking the next best thing. Create a new Gundam design based around this concept. The Gundam Malibu, I have never seen anyone take that name for any Gundam design before so this would hopefully be nice and unique. So why am I asking for suggestions? Namely because I don’t like the thought of just having this account for the Plamo competitions and want to create something on the side without a deadline. I am becoming a father soon but that doesn’t mean I can’t work out some extra money for gundam building.

    So let me state this again, this will not be a part of any competition and will be for some fun amongst the community. Now for some links, first the car itself.

    Now the hood ornament. I wish to use this to be a paint design on the front of the mobile suit similar to a Zeon styled crest.

    Now then another thing I’m looking for is for this to not have a huge elaborate back pack or any sort of spoilers. Meaning Gundam AGE kits would be out here. The kit types I think may fit the best would be U.C. or A.D. kits. C.C. is too rounded for this and F.C and A.C. would just be too ridiculous looking. C.E. kits would be too backpack heavy as well I think. However A.W. suits might make a good basis although not many have been released in HG yet. Like I said this is going to be a kitbash so if you want to suggest multiple kits please do so. Lets make something fun together shall we?
