Finished it a few weeks ago but did not have time to do photos. Camera sucks at these kinds of pictures.

Overall a great kit but there are so many parts it took a really long time to mask and paint. I had flat coated the funnels and masked it to do some metallic highlights but the tape took the decals off, so my Nu is funnel-less for the time being.

I used Tamiya acrylic paints exclusively since those are readily available where I live. I had to use some custom mixes, especially for the darkly blue, slightly lighter blue parts. It was a good thing I kept the mix since the RA logo on the calf did not line up properly when I did it the first time. Of course I only noticed after I flat coated so I had to scrape the decals off and repaint the two parts.

Great contest. I doubt I would have finished this thing if I did not have the motivation to keep going.
