This is my first time actually painting a kit, I don’t think I did too badly. This is the 1/100 MG OVA Sinanju, I painted all the red black and all the original black I painted white, went in with a yellow fine tipped gundam marker for the small intricate details that was to be stickered up. Then I used some other gundam markers to touch up the fuel tanks on the backpack. At first that’s how I was going to leave him, but the more I looked at him over the time of almost a month, I kept thinking he had too much of just one color, so I went back and added some white to the side leg thrusters, front and side skirts, shoulders, main thrusters, and finally the head. With the same yellow I added some onto his face plate, vulcan barrel tips, and a stripe around his head that connects to his commander fin, the actual fin I colored white rather than do the whole part in just one or the other. I also added yellow into the small indentions on his side leg thrusters and the top of his head, finally, I added a couple yellow strips onto his back pack’s thrusters. I think it turned out pretty well for my first painting of a kit, let me know what you think, I’d appreciate any feedback, and criticism is more than welcomed. I like to refer to him as my BlackGuard Sinanju, hope you like him as much as I do.
