Slowly making progress. I finished the frame and some of the trim parts. The largest part count by far are the white parts, which I just started priming. Here are some shots of the frame. I used Tamiya spray cans (light gunmetal) for the majority of the parts. I did some highlights with Tamiya acrylics (bronze, chrome silver) and some model master enamels (metallic red). I finished the dark blue parts (using Tamiya’s Dark Sea blue), the lighter portions which required stickers I did with a custom mix of Dark Sea Blue and sky grey. It is subtle, but I like the look. I let everything dry for 24 hours, then sprayed 2 coats for Future, then applied decals. Once everything dried (48-72 hours), I top coated with Tamiya Flat Clear. The finish turned out semi-gloss more than flat, but I am liking the look.

The white parts may take a while to complete due to the weather getting colder and my lack of time. I hope to have this completed by the end of the contest.
