Well, it seems this page is finally starting to behave better, so here’s my next update for the MG Sandrock.
This time I’m painting the internal frame.
The color is a custom mix of Testors brand Rust, Flat Light Tan, French Light Blue Gray, Primer, Flat White, and Humbrol brand Matt 121.
There’s a before/after shot showing the chest piece with primer and then paint, as well as a couple other pics showing the backpack, fingers, and all the other parts.
Next update will be for the parts I’ll paint in the “light sand” color.

  Looking nice, i like the color choice. Do you find air brush to be better then using a normal brush. Also what brand brush do you use. I have been looking at getting one but not sure on the difference between models and brands.

    Thanks, glad you like it!
    Airbrushing almost always provides much better results than using a hand brush.
    I use a Badger brand airbrush, model “Anthem 155”. It’s a good beginner brush that has dual action and internal mix.
    I’m sure there are much better brushes out there than this, but it works well enough for my needs.
