so an update and some build photos . i have been hard at work trying to duplicate the base runner from hardware ship breakers . Its interesting because im not actuly designing it my self , there is a specific way it looks , unlike my other scratch builds where i design it my self. i also have to be super organized in how i build this , i really have to break it down into sub sections. im building this vehical in 1/144 same as a an HG model . and by my calculations it will be 19 inches long , the tiers out side diameter will be 4.5 inches . this thing is going to be BIG so i need to take into add some structural supporting in the sub assembles. the most important picture i have is the side view with the scale at the bottom ,that’s how in deriving all the proportions , so thank you Black bird interactive for posting that Photo on the internet. to further complicate things they have 2 or 3 slightly different renderings of the Base runner so im trying to go with the one in the picture i have shared . this brings me to a question for HLJ : i may not be able to finish this project in time what with work and school , i have another scratch build that i am just about to complete , one thing it has been in another online contest a Long time ago in different form. now it looks completely different could you please allow me to use that model in the event that i don’t get to finish this one in time ? i have plenty of build in progress pictures for it !
