As always guys, thanks so much for viewing and enjoy 🙂

    • I wanted to post up more images but only these came through. sorry guys

    • Great review @baui! Seems like a great buy. Need a new knife sine my cheap one chipped so this will be a nice replacement. Now I just need a good replacement for my nippers lol!

    • Ta for the review, I had ordered one before reading it however. Bit disappointing to find out the jaws are only plastic!!! Still considering the price on hlj.com it’s easily swallowable, and 30 blades included, it’s cheap.
Any chance you have tried the Modellers Knife Pro?
I personally have been using Swann Morton #3 scalple handles with #11 surgical steel blades for the last 25yrs, and they have always served me well.
Never hurts to try something new.
I also have a couple of different versions of that Stanley knife aswell. It’s a food multi-purpose knife, a little brutal for fine detail.

      • Thats true, it served the purpose well enough for a beginner but needed to up it up a bit. I was actually really tempted to buy the modeler knife pro but decided to just get the design knife. When the time comes though, i’ll definitely write up a review of it as soon as i have it in my hands. But thanks heaps for viewing the review and hoped you liked it

    • I recently got the OLFA Art Knife pro:

It’s really nice and heavy duty. It has some weight to it and it’s longer than the cheapo hobby knife. The end that holds the blade is made of nice heavy duty metal and feels solid. It also has a cap to cover the blade and a nub that sticks out on the side of the handle to keep it from rolling off the table. It comes with 3 different blade types, straight, curved and square chisel type. My old cheap x-acto is like a Hobby Knife junior compared to this thing. For $10 US (1024 Yen) I’m really happy with it.
