Has anyone built the MG RX-79(G) Gundam, if so what is it like. been thinking to get this kit.
It is a fairly simple kit to build, very straight forward. Buy a Ez8 and a GM while your doing the shopping XD complete the entire 08MS team
I will be something like that with HGs.
For what it’s worth: Personally I think the MGs are a better value. 3000 yen for a bigger kit with better detail, versus around 1600 yen for a more modern and more poseable HGUC with corners cut (literally in some places)… There are trade-offs either way but I think MG comes out ahead in the end.

It’s one of the earliest MGs to have a nearly complete inner frame, and also one of the first MGs to be able to pull off a kneeling pose. It’s a nice kit, and a good value, just bear in mind that it is an older MG, so it’s a little bit limited in some ways.
