Okay, I decided this carrier based zero needs a carrier deck for a base. I masked and painted some of the planks different shades to add some variation (difficult to see in these pics). I use an air compressor to do my painting and while I was planking it died. Hmm. But, the old canned air supplies came to the rescue. Yay!

This deck uses PE tie-downs that are glued over drilled out cavities. I don’t think I’m going to tie the plane down but it adds some depth.
