The next step is to start weathering the lower hull.
I used streaking grim for the hull. This is a product by AK interactive and is actually a pre mixed oil streak color which I then softened with white spirits.
Next to simulate salt streaks I used white oil color with very little black for a grayish almost white color and streaked the lower hull in the same way.

When all was dry, I used raw umber oil color to stain the deck areas to create depth and weather the deck.

Next PE and plastic parts were added to the deck. Pontos supplies lots of little details to replace crude plastic parts, and when cured I went over them with dark gray to fix damage caused to the painting by the glue.
