Hi,
the model is now primed and I hope to airbrush it soon..
Meanwhile I worked on the base.
Started by cutting a piece of wood, and adding som foamcore to it to make it a bit bulkier.
Mext I’ve marked the location of the ship with a pencil, and added wall filler with a spatula.
I used the spatula to create the waves textures.
When it was dry, I dry fit the ship to the base, and removed excess wall filler when needed.

The base was painted in various shades of blue green, and then I mixed white to the still wet blue. The sides were painted black.

After the ship will be painted and glued to the base, I’ll add future floow wax.
