  1. You guys are a lot of fun! 🙂

Love the gifts you got each other. Robin’s Astronaut Snoopy brought back a few memories. I had remembered the names given to the lander and the command module, but had forgotten which Apollo mission it was. Looks like Medicom did a great reproduction job. And Ardith’s Melon Kuma looks wonderfully menacing. Even before Robin mentioned the eyes, my first thought when the face was shown was that there was a little bit of Godzilla in those eyes. The shot of Melon Kuma with the headless body of Alleyne in its mouth was a great hoot!

Despite both of you having to work on the 25th, I hope you both have a very merry Christmas and wish you all the best in the coming year. Thanks for all the Toy Tengokus this past year, and I’m looking forward to see what’s in store (pardon the pun) for 2013. Have a great time at Comiket 83. Cheers.

  3. Dear Robin & Ardith,
This might be a little late for a comment, but I can’t help but be obsessed with Melon Kuma. That toy is simply amazing. I’ve been looking around the web for a store that might sell a similar product but to no avail. Will HLJ be getting Melon Kuma in someday, or can you direct me to a site that will sell and ship one to me in the US? Thanks for introducing the toy to me and keep up the great work. I look forward to more toy tengoku.
    Cheers!
    Luke
