  1. Okay, I admit it, I was sucked in by the Yamato 2199 kit box at the beginning of the episode, though I think that was because just a few minutes earlier I’d watched the latest episode of Gunpla TV (84) where Ryan had just talked about it. The info about the send-in offer on the bottom of the kit box was interesting, though, as that hadn’t been previously mentioned. Had I taken the time to read the title for TT 26, I might have clued in to which box was going to be opened. 🙂

I’m not a “One Piece” fan, but I have to say that the Chogokin Going Merry looked like a fun item. It appears to be very nicely detailed, with impressive colours. A nifty thing to put together, and you don’t have to paint it, too. 🙂 Wonder how Ardith will display the Going Merry…bow in place or broken, pointing down?

The Megahouse Desktop Real McKoy One Piece 02 looked like it was a fairly hefty piece (pardon the pun). I have to agree that seeing an illustration that has been rendered in 3D form can be quite thrilling. And for some reason, this particular set made me think of Disney’s “The Jungle Book”.

Thanks for the insights as to what you both had previously been involved with and how you ended up at HLJ. Given time, we never know where we’ll end up. And then, of course, the references to “Star Blazers”, which takes us back to the beginning of the episode. I see what ya did there. 🙂

    Eagerly awaiting #27.
