Bandai has just announced a new plamo line called ULTIMAGEAR, and it kicks off with the Millennium Puzzle from the hit anime Yu-Gi-Oh!
What is the Millennium Puzzle?
In the anime’s lore, the Millennium Puzzle was originally a pendant that was shattered and found in a box much later. The box containing the Puzzle’s pieces had two messages written on it: “The person who solves this puzzle will have their wish granted,” and, “The one who solves me, will receive my dark knowledge and power.”
This is the same pendant that Yugi Mutou wore around his neck in the series. It took him 8 years to complete the puzzle, let’s hope this version doesn’t take anyone THAT long!
The Bandai Version
The kit will contain 33 pieces, and once built will be 10cm tall. However, like Bandai said, there’s no instruction manual! Just like Yugi, you’re going to have a challenge on your hands!
Preorder Information
The Millennium Puzzle model kit will retail for 3,850 JPY and is scheduled for release this August.
