It seems that the Robot Damashii line of figures from Aura Battler Dunbine is doing very well indeed, as Bandai is doing its utmost to release every aura battler it can. The latest of these is the the Robot Damashii Bozune.
The Bozune is one of many underdog aura battlers and made early on the series, when the knowledge of aura technology was limited. That said, the Bozune was a tough little aura battler and far more capable than either the Dana O’Shee or the Gedo.
Made in the Kingdom of Lao, it was the precursor to the far more potent and capable Botune (an aura battler that Bandai has already done an excellent Robot Damashii figure for). Unlike other aura battlers, the Bozune was also piloted directly by King Foizon; he not only designed it in the narrative, but the Botune as well.
To be honest, I wasn’t expecting to see the Bozune given the Robot Damashii treatment but I am very grateful it has come out, as it has turned out to be a great little toy.
