It’s a light but exciting week for new plamo! Bandai brings us the new SDEX Gundam Aerial plus a charming Figure-rise kit of the heroine of The Witch From Mercury, Suletta Mercury! We’ve also got new Front Mission from Square Enix, and an adorable Pokemon diorama kit. See them all below, and get your orders in while stock lasts!
If any kits in this post are backordered when you read this, don’t worry — Bandai is great about restocking periodically. But, you’ll want to get your order in to secure a spot in line for the next restock!
Gundam
The Gundam Aerial from “Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch of Mercury” gets a new SD Gundam EX model kit from Bandai! It’s adorably super-deformed, yet stylish and highly detailed, with a high degree of posability; it comes with its beam saber, beam rifle and shield. The rifle can be stowed on the back, and the shield can be separated and connected to the shoulder, too.
Figure-rise Standard Suletta Mercury
Suletta Mercury from “Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch From Mercury” now joins Bandai’s “Figure-rise Standard” action figure model kit lineup! She comes with three interchangeable facial expressions, as well as water-transfer decals to create your own; her uniform is molded in color, and the patterns on her collar and the chest of the uniform are recreated with stickers. Her hairstyle is wonderfully created, and her leg joints allow a wide range of motion while keeping her silhouette as natural as possible. The uneven wrinkles on her boots are also very well done! Her Haro is included, and its “ears” can be opened and closed, as are interchangeable hands (including a pair to hold the Haro).
Front Mission
1/72 Front Mission Structure Arts Plastic Model Kit Series Vol.3
Square Enix’s “Front Mission Structure Arts” lineup now expands to include four more 1/72-scale mecha: the Type 90, Vizaf, Gust and Grille Sechs! These futuristic war machines adapt perfectly to any future-military diorama in the same scale; their torsos, arms, lower bodies, backpacks and hand-held armaments are all interchangeable so you can create your own custom fighting machine. Four hard points on their shoulders and lower arms make it easy to swap weaponry, shields and more. Utility parts are also included.
Pokemon
Pokemon Poke Peace House Lounge Scorbunny & Espurr
The “Poke Peace House” is a special place where humans and Pokemon live together, and Takara Tomy brings us a series of playsets to recreate it in your own collection! This lounge set comes with figures of Scorbunny and Espurr, as well as different furniture parts that you can arrange and rearrange to your heart’s content.
