Just finished my RG Exia. Straight build. Just pre-coated the swords before adding the plated parts, and took a swab and tooth-pick to rub off the coat on the clear parts (figured it would take less time than masking them).
Great vid again. I’m really wanting that RG Exia, but I think that may have to take a backseat to some of the other RGs I’m planning to get. The first I built was the Justice and I’ve been hooked on RG ever since.
Just finished my straight build RG Destiny today. Would have been done a day or two earlier but we got some rain last week so I waited for the wind and humidity to drop back down to summer levels. Also tried Syd’s suggestion of a super light pre-coat since the non-Japanese lacquers can be a bit harsh on Gundam Markers.
Woah, no wonder those boxes were so big. Must be super exciting, but you’ve got your work cut out for you… if I use the time I spent putting my Sazabi VK together as a guideline, I shudder to think of the hours it would take to do them all.
I like seeing the visual change, but its just so monotonous. I’m actually going to have to sf some glee down for the shiny parts since the destiny has a lot of short stickers that done properly grip corners

Haven’t started any building or prep yet (saving up for all the airbrushing tools/materials), but I scanned and photoshopped the manual for the Miss Sazabi. I placed the completed sections to get a full part so I could draw some test color schemes. If you guys have any suggestions, please let me know.
俺のMGケンプファーです。初めてのカスタムジョブのでミスが多くて申し訳ないが最初の「作品」にとって十分出来たと思う。単純のホワイト・ガンメタル・シルバーでやったのでフィニッシュを光沢にした。
Finished my first paint/custom job today with an MG Kampfer. There is plenty of…
I like the red, though I think the white stickers work better with the blue. Maybe you purposely decided not to, but I think it would look better with a flat coat. I’m not sure I could call it a Char’s Kampfer, and I think it’s because its missing that second tone of pinkish red on the limbs and head.
