Thank you very much. I wanted to stick an asteroid made of Styrofoam in front of the action base to make it look like it is coming out of hiding from it to ambush Federation forces, but I was not done with it by the time it was 1 January in Japan. I wish you luck as well.
I forget which series its from but it reminds me of when a mobile suite ran into a real astroid thinking it was a dummy one and the commander getting annoyed with the guy killing himself.
I think that was from Char’s Counterattack. At least I think as the same thing happens when a Geara Doga pilot runs into a real one to “pop” it, but crashed and bounced into it when he noticed it was real making him vulnerable to be shot by Amuro. I have a fancy for the balloon decoys in Gundam.

Later in the day I painted the cowlings of the leg verniers Tamiya XF-60 and the vernier itself Tamiya XF-56. The…[Read more]
Thank you. It is a good set, the models are good and accurate especially the Gaza-C, the EWAC-Zack actually includes all the parts to make a Hi-Zack. The Geara Doga, although my favourite mobile suit of all time, is the model in the set most lacking, it is basically the standard HGUC Geara Doga with new arm parts for the sleeves. It needs some…[Read more]
Yeah I’m really looking forward to each one of these kits because I don’t own the standard versions of them yet in HGUC. I love the design of the Geara Doga but looking forward to the Gaza-C just due to its unique style compared to other suites out there.
