Love the piston action but the lack of fully articulated hands is a missed opportunity. Am I the only one who thinks that? I mean shouldn’t MG be on a higher level than HG? Most reviews I’ve seen skip the weird janky thumb poking out too.

Well that’s dumb. They did the same thing to the RG line which made the kits a lot less exciting. I was looking forward to this kit because the hands were claw like. They could still include an articulated set of hands along with the static hands. The RX-78-2 MG 3.0 has a set of pretty awesome full jointed set of hands.
sorry, didn’t see that post. I don’t really like that idea. It’s an extra cost and I’m not comfortable with spray paint cans and anything that could gco wrong with those would be irreversible. I can still scrape off mistakes with acrylic paint and try again

Forget the door mod. Get the paint right. Spray paints are ok. No automotive ones. Wood/plastic ones. Get some Tamiya masking tape for the skirt/bumper trims. Do silver first, then black. Don’t go too thick in one go. Keep misting it on every 30 mins or so until full coverage.
